Girard Avenue west from Frankford, then south on American Street. We have our own lot and it's always free — no meters, no permit zones, no circling Front Street hoping for a spot before class.
The Market-Frankford Line drops you at Front & Berks or Front & Girard. Both stations are about four blocks from the front door — a five-to-eight minute walk. Easiest option if you're coming straight from Center City work.
There's a bike rental station three blocks north of the academy on N American St, so you can ride in without owning a bike. Fishtown to our door is a flat, mostly quiet ride.

Dennis Pressey Jr. is head instructor — black belt, 18 years training, 12 years teaching. Beginner and kids classes are also led by Markee, Matt, and Gina, all black belts. Every instructor is SafeSport certified, background checked, and CPR certified.
