Edwin Capetillo leads the Muay Thai program at Logic in Philadelphia. Muay Thai has no belt system — rank is replaced by time in the sport and fight-room experience, and Edwin has both.
His beginner classes do not spar. They teach stance, footwork and strikes rep by rep, in a room with no advanced students in it, because a first-timer learning to move should not be sharing mat space with someone preparing to fight.
Edwin coaches alongside Adolphus Li and Fedir Lantukh. Beginner-only Muay Thai runs Tuesday 6:00 PM, Wednesday 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM at 1360 N American St, with free parking on site. He is SafeSport certified and background checked.
